Lodging

16 single rooms on one floor plus 10 double rooms (occupancy for 20) on a shared floor have been reserved in Arrupe Hall, a student residence on Georgetown University’s campus. The rates for the single room is $114/night and for the double room $95/night with availability from 6/15/2025 through 6/21/2025. There is an additional $15 fee for the week for linens. Other hotels, AirBnB or VRBO options are available in the Washington, DC area or across the river in Arlington/Rosslyn, Virginia.
If you have registered for summer housing in Arrupe Hall, you will receive an email from Summer Housing with instructions on how to access your dorm room via SwitchTech access. (There is information about SwitchTech beginning on page 6 of this document.) The Check-in window will be 4pm to 6pm on Sunday, June 15th. There will be a table set up in the main lobby of the Arrupe building where Summer Housing staff will be present to check students into their housing as well provide troubleshooting support for SwitchTech access. If you are arriving after 6pm or after June 15th, you will need to go to the Summer Housing Office in Village C West to check in. Please note that the office is only open until 10pm. If you are arriving overnight (10pm-8am) please call the Night Duty number (202) 689-7795 so a member of the Summer Housing staff can assist you with checking in.
Transportation and Directions
Georgetown University operates a shuttle between campus and Arlington, VA, Rosslyn, VA and Dupont Circle, Washington, DC. Additionally, DC operates multiple bus routes. There is no Metro (i.e., subway) stop in Georgetown. Please see this link for information on GU shuttles, DC buses and directions to campus – https://transportation.georgetown.edu/. To assist you in finding locations (since the buildings aren’t labeled on the interactive map), here are some tips. If you hover over the map, location names will pop up. The Hariri building is the large blue location just above the field. Healey Family Student Center is at the bottom of the map between Prospect Street and Library Walk. The entrance to HFSC is on Library Walk. Arrupe Hall is on the right side of the map towards the top, just below the construction zone. The main entrance to Georgetown is on O Street.
Wifi – Wifi is “GuestNet”. No password is needed.
