The Center for Neuroengineering at Georgetown University is hosting the first Summer Session in Neuroengineering in partnership with the Technical University of Munich from June 19th to June 23rd, 2023, in Washington, DC. GUMC is an internationally recognized academic medical center, with a strong research focus on neuroscience. It is also home to a renowned bioethics/neuroethics center that is rooted in its commitment to inquiry and discovery based in Jesuit values to pursue outcomes for the common good. TUM is among the world leaders in robotics and neurotechnology and is based in Munich, Germany.
At the summer school, prominent speakers from Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC), Technical University of Munich (TUM), National Institutes of Health, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland will give talks on current topics in Neuroengineering. The summer school will also include a student poster session and include opportunities to visit some of the nation’s capital’s iconic sites.
